What makes a Faithlet different than other ‘Christian’ jewelry?
I’d like to tell you that we came up with the idea of wearing God’s word as a reminder, or that we’re some kind of genius or creative person.
But, we didn’t. It wasn’t our idea.
It was God’s idea.
In the Old Testament (Deuteronomy 6:5-8) we’re told…
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. Take to heart these instructions with which I charge you this day. Impress them upon your children. Recite them when you stay at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you get up. Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them serve as a symbol on your forehead, inscribe them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
These well known verses teaches us four crucial steps on what it means to live by faith.
Ancient believers were told to…
Yes…God told them to WEAR his promises.
God wanted them to NEVER FORGET who He was and how special they were.
You ARE LOVED.
You are a CHILD OF GOD…
GOD IS WITH YOU every step of the way and because of that —YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS.
You don’t have to FEAR ANY EVIL because God has conquered the grave and you can JUST BREATHE.
That’s what God doesn’t want you to forget.
